Roller ReplacementMost residential siding doors will require standard roller replacement.
Fleetwood, Pella, and Andersen sliding doors will cost more because of the of the parts needed. (there are a few others, that are rare) And sliding doors that require commercial roller replacement will also cost more. (at the bottom of this page, you will see examples of what could be happening with the rollers that are currently in your sliding door.) |
Track ReplacementIf your track is noticeably damaged, then we can match your track, and schedule you for a new track install.
usually, on average, this is a 2-2&1/2 hour process depending on your sliding door. This time frame can vary from door to door. Prices vary depending on the length of the track that is required for your sliding door. We include rollers with track replacements. (at the bottom of this page, you will see examples of what bad rollers can start doing to you track.) |
Lock and Handle ReplacementWe also do lock and handle replacement. Take note, that some locks are one with some handles, and some doors require locks that are separate from the handles. so in some instances, you may need a lock, and not the handle, and vice versa, while other doors will need the handle with lock to be replaced.
these prices will vary. |
Doors On The DocksWe have been known to do sliding door roller replacements on boats.
These doors can be tricky. This needs to be done every so often, because the salt water can be destructive over the course of time. Boat doors may or may not require special order parts. We really won't know until we get into it. The door in the above picture did take standard rollers. |
Vinyl Track ReplacementWe can replace vinyl track inserts, or track caps if needed. If your track has folded over, We have a more durable replacement, so that it will not likely happen again. (the bottom picture, above) We include rollers with vinyl track replacements.
|
Cut-DownsWe occasionally have to perform cut-downs. This is trimming the top of the existing moving panel, to give the door the space it needs to move freely. The stationary panel may also need to be trimmed in this instance. This is usually caused by the settling of the house. Sometimes it can be caused by a tree root that grew under the foundation of the house, or patio.
This is also done with wood doors, wood clad doors, but will only work with some vinyl doors.
